Despite of being the
fastest growing developing economy, India faces the paradox of
socio-economic inequity and political disempowerment. As intended,
the fruits of development have not percolated uniformly due to the
lack of adequate, innovative and flexible outreach mechanisms of
governmental system. The need for equitable development and
effective sustainable intervention motivated the conception of
CARDS.
