NGO support
Programme:
NGO support programme is a unique concept to develop a NGO
leadership by providing overall training support, i.e.
Documentation, Audit, Monitoring and Evaluation, need assessment and
Organizational Strategy Development. It’s a ten days residential
training programme which covers all aspect of Organizational
development in participatory and innovative manner. The programme
also focuses on tools and techniques of need assessment and impact
evaluation like PRA/RRA, Base line survey, Sampling, Quantitative
and Qualitative Research Methodology.
Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP):
EDP is unique concept by CARDS where organizations/individuals are
trained and provided support to develop enterprises and become
self-dependent. EDP is a 35 days training programme divided in three
phases of 15-10-10 in three months. It covers both behavioral and
technical components.
Technical
Support:
CARDS also provide technological support based on it strong
experience in horticulture, floriculture, Aromatics, medicinal
farming, rainwater harvesting, water and land resource development
and west land development.
Monitoring and evaluation support:
Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) are key areas of technical support
that should be provided by CARDS to their partner NGOs and CBOs.
However, CARDS is committed to building and maintaining a
comprehensive M&E system of its own, the M&E support it provides to
partners is unlikely to be effective. This section introduces the
basic concepts of monitoring and evaluation, and describes the key
stages involved in building an M&E system for CARDS but also
provides guidance on how CARDS can provide support to NGOs/CBOs to
develop their own M&E systems.
Training
Support:
CARDS as an organization is developing an annual training schedule
where phase wise training programmes on
RCH, STD, Rain Water
Harvesting, Horticulture, Medicinal farming, West land development
and Water and Land resource development.
