Detailed Survey of Children in Chhattisgarh & collection of DISE Data in DCF from schools of Chhattisgarh: - CARDS had conducted a state level survey door to door survey of 15 lacs households in Chhattisgarh state. The main objectives of survey are as below.
Tracking down of each and every child (both in-school & out of school) in 0-14 age group
The reasons for out of school for every child can be assessed village wise and remedial can be initiated.
Further school going children can be assessed village wise and advance action in terms of action can be planed.
A child tracking system will be designed for in-school children so as track each child with their attendance, achievement, health status etc, to ensure the universal retention a quality education.
Number of children going to unrecognized school/institutions can be assessed.
Identification of partners migrating the specific sector(s) for their livelihood can be done.
The status of migration in terms of following can be studied for proper intervention.
  • Migration Sector
  • Number & Annual Pattern (sector wise)
  • Child survey at work.
  • Identify the problems arising out of migration
  • Condition of work sites.
Cards had successfully done the study as the partner of Maa Ambica Association (AAA) with guidance of MIT Pune (main partner of CG govt.).
